How to Apply Drywall?

Drywall is also known as plasterboard in everyday language. Nowadays, it has long replaced plaster and is used as a wall material. Applying drywall is quite simple; since it comes ready-made, it is directly mounted. If there are gaps between them, plaster is applied and then painted over.

Its light weight, non-flammability, and sound insulation properties have made this material a popular decoration material in recent years

Before application, the surface must be flat and smooth. If your surface has imperfections, you can cover those holes with putty. You can sand down the imperfections. If the wall is to be clad, drywall can be adhered by applying a special plaster mixture. The joints of the drywall sheets are covered with joint tapes made of fiberglass or polyester fibers. These tapes make the drywall stronger. After all these processes, plaster or putty can be used for the resulting gaps. Finally, the surface of the drywall is sanded again, and the painting process can begin. It would be better if you prefer plastic paint or synthetic paint on drywall. You can also create a different atmosphere in your room by using wallpaper.
