What is Underfloor Heating?

Heating is a necessity. Humans have developed various methods to meet their heating needs since ancient times. Underfloor heating system is also an economical heating method that provides comfortable warmth.

How is it Applied?

Underfloor heating is a heating method based on providing the necessary energy for heating from the floor. The basis of the system is the heating pipes laid on the floor. Through the heating pipes, equal temperature is distributed to all parts of the space. It is a more advantageous method than radiator systems. It is economical and provides up to 30% energy savings. Styrofoam, heating pipes, and connecting apparatus are used to provide underfloor heating. The higher the quality of the underfloor heating materials, the longer the system's lifespan. Styrofoam is laid under the screed. The grooves on the styrofoam allow the heating pipes to be laid easily and regularly. These pipes are fixed to the styrofoam with connecting apparatus. Styrofoam and heating pipes become integrated thanks to these apparatuses and take on the same shape as the floor. Once the laying process is complete, the system's leak test is performed and checked. Then, the screed is poured, and the floor covering application begins.
