Law and Its Role in Our Lives

Law and Its Role in Our Lives
The word "Law," which we often use metaphorically as friendship or camaraderie, refers to the regulatory rules that govern all aspects of life and are backed by sanctions. The word "law" is essentially a set of rules that guides our customs, traditions, and practices in an organized manner. Through the rules of law, which have evolved over the centuries and taken many forms, societies have steered both legal and social events in an orderly fashion. Family law is one of the simplest examples and a rule of law. It governs the concept of family within specific rules, thereby ensuring that the family, the fundamental pillar of society, is maintained on solid foundations. As seen, the concept of law, in its general sense, is a set of rules that regulates societies and, while ensuring this order, provides equality and order through rules and sanctions. Family law, which ensures the smooth functioning of the public within order, is divided into sub-branches such as criminal law, constitutional law, labor law, and similar fields, as we indicated first.
